The annual City of Greater Dandenong Champion of Champions was held this
year at the Burden Park Bowling Club with 7 competing teams from the council
area, Burden Park, Dandenong Club, Dandenong City, Dandenong RSL/Rec,
Keysborough, Noble Park and Willow Lodge.The many spectators were treated to
a feast of bowling and the final was worthy of a state championship between
Keysboroughs Marilyn Mulcock and Burden Parks Helen Alexander the final
scoreline was 25-19 in favour of Helen Alexander with the game being level
many times. A feast was also provided for the after game celebrations thanks
to Burden Parks caterers and Greater Dandenong Council. Thanks also to
Councillor Roz Blades for attending to present the trophies.
Aileen Brown and Ella Gale Group Pairs Champions will compete in the state finals at Burden Park on March 26.
VLBA Championship Events to be held at Burden Park
The State Pairs and the State Champion of Champions are to be played on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th of March at Burden Park
